‘The artworks created for this group exhibition are centered on the aftermath of events that happened in Myanmar from a young child’s perspective. With all that has happened in Myanmar, my heart goes out to the young and innocent children, who are suffering and living in fear because of the unstable political situation. At the age when they should be having the best time of their lives, learning and exploring, they have lost their sense of freedom and happiness, their childhood destroyed overnight.’ – Regine Tan

Regine Tan (b. 1998) graduated with a Diploma in Fine Arts from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. In her world of art, there are endless possibilities. She has the ability to create art out of everything around her. With her clumsy fingers and awkward strokes, she embarked on a never-ending journey towards creating an important masterpiece; her life.
