‘Culture is undone through conflict. As the voices of the masses are silenced & traditions weaponized, the world can only goggle at the spectacle paraded in front of them. Through rose tinted glasses, we forget the appearance of suffering.’ – Laura Vuorio

Laura Marie Katriina Vuorio was born in Turku, Finland, but has lived the majority of her life in Singapore. She received her Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts (Honours) from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore, and is currently working as a Visual Arts Teacher in Art Village in Singapore.
